my new signals arrived....any rationale to install one way or the other relative to wiring? the harness leads for the front lights are long enough to connect inside the headlight bucket, but will need to splice into the rear stock wiring. Shrink connectors? lick the wire and twist 'em tight? :)

heh....good point! the 9x previous owners cannot be accounted for completely by the Interpol checks I did on them prior to laying down the $500 for the bike

so will have another spliced in section then...unless I rewire the light with a longer harness for under the seat. OK, off to Canuck Wheel in the morning to get some connectors :) think the new lights will be a large improvement over the stock beacons!

If you can Solder and Heat Shrink, ...
    Do it!
    Why not?
    It's permanent. Won't pull loose.
    And, ... "Looks better"; too!

liking the new signals! Had to Macgyver it a bit given the squared hole in the stock brackets. Nice and tight to the bike...slick me thinks!

    Yes I soldered them :)
