So I have an 82 XJ 750 Maxim that was running real good until yesterday. I don't know what happened, but now there is an exhaust leak at one of my headers. When I start it I can hear the leak, and when riding it is backfiring. I can feel the exhaust when I put my hand up to the header, and when I apply pressure to the header, the leak stops. I don't know much about the mechanics of these bikes, but I don't have much money to put into it. I hope it's a cheap easy fix. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a deep respect for the knowledge of the wizards on this site.

try tightening the bolts up, but dont over do them, half a turn might do it, but if it still leaks, the gaskets are cheap

This might sound stupid, but what is that gasket called if I were to search for one, and where is the best place to find it?
