I noticed today that my Speedometer is off. So I had my girlfriend drive next to me on the interstate to see if I was right. And I was. About 10 mph less than usual. Her 55 was my 65, her 65 was my 75, and so on. I checked the cable and it's all plugged in on both ends, and I really have no idea. Anything would help!

    Thanks

    Cam

    bumpty bump.
Having the same prob. Plenty of info to be found on slow reading speedos, nothing on fast reading ones though. It seems to me the general wear and tear do not lead to fast a reading speedo.
    Any1?

    Smaller front tire? Almost flat?

Maybe the return spring inside the speedo has lost some tension.

Can't speak for the OP but mine's stock size @ 35 psi, due for replacement though
Good thinking! That makes sense I guess.
I'm thinking about replacing it anyway but was just curious what would cause a fast reading speedo.(other than tire/wheel size)

I know that my wheel and tire size is stock. So maybe it's the spring and such. I'll check on it. Thanks guys.
