Under the forum heading, Sell, Trade, Swap, Wanted"
it clearly states "Anything for sale or trade"

I would hate to see it turned into a never ending ad page,
But to have the post resticted or removed wouldn't you also
have to remove the "anything for sale or trade' statement
and make clear what and how much could be listed as for sale?

I haven't seen too many of those show up, yet..........but with so many forums being plugged this morning with the previously mentioned one, I felt it was time to say something.

As for being an "anything for sale or trade" forum, I'm not going to get into a discussion on that, other than since this was brought up, let me also bring up the following section from the sign-on info that we all should have gotten as some point or another. I happened to have saved it for reference:

Now a good argument has been made in favor of removal.

My original concern delt with the statement "anything".
meaning that no rule or policy has as yet been violated.

Now there can be some honest debate regaurding policy one
way or the other as oppossed to action taken just because of
a simple dislike of an ad .

I think the fact that the for sale forum is on a site called "XJBikes.com" implies XJ bike related sales.

 

its not the selling that sketches me out,
its probably not the most authentic company if they are spamming boards like this and many others. itd be a shame for one of the xjusers to get screwed

 

Once they're in the door, ... there's little I can do but pass the offenders ScreenName on to an Administrator.

All I can do is delete the annoying Thread.
