That X-Bike is way too nice to Part-out.

Detail the whole Bike and have Wizard or BigFitz take an amazing photograph of it and put it on Ebay.

Be honest.
Set a starting price where you break-even.

Somewhere, there is a young guy looking for your Bike.
Not just any Bike that will come along.
A Maxim-X
He's probably asked owners of Bikes he's serviced if they want to sell theirs.
Because this Wrencher keeps their Bike tip-top they don't sell.

You start parting it out and it becomes a non-entity.
Nobody wants it without what you sold off it.
And another crying shame starts collecting dust.

My apologies for not updating this sooner. I've been busy installing and tuning x's engine and carbs.

Designer_mike has my carbs. We have a carb clinic the end of this month. We hope to get the stupid thing running by then. If not, it's being parted with the exception of a few parts that I'm keeping for myself.

The wheels and tires are staying with me. I want them on my X. The crash bars, unless someone gives me a smokin price, are staying. I do have a pair of Chrome bars that are in great shape I'm willing to part with though.

I have gotten royally screwed on shipping, so the parts I list will not include shipping.

The guages go as a set $100

Air box is very good, for anyone that has an x, this will work, but you will need different carb to airbox boots. $25

FYI...Designer_mike found a few issues with the carbs and has float levels set correctly. The oem 'n' needles would not hold a float height...He said the springs in the needles seemed too weak even though they were oem.

He replaced them with 'x' needles and compensated for the longer length by re adjusting the float levels. I will have the carbs by the close of this week and will re adjust fire from there. If it runs and rides, I might just keep it. If it doesn't, it's getting parted...It'll be first come first served.

Actually I found out I need the speedo gear by the front wheel not the speedo itself.

Do you still have that and what's your asking price?

 

Noone reads previous posts I guess. The bike is for sale for 1300 to any forum member. The bike is

ON THE ROAD and WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT.

Not to be short, but I keep getting pinged for parts and it isn't being parted.
