Just wondering if anyone has a yics tool/carb balancer for rent in kitchener? going through the carbs now and obviously will need some setup... I know they're not that pricey but if someone has one in their tool chest that i could bum for a couple of days I'd be glad to compensate...

Why not make your own? That way you'll have one to hand for future servicing. I found these plans, it all seems pretty simple:

    Hope that's of some help.

    Yeah,

I'm leaning towards that or just ordering one from Chacal. Kitchener is a pretty big place and I've seen a few XJs around, figured it was worth a shot :)

Stokie, those plans are not correct, the tool you make with those plans will not work.

    Mwhite74,

Worth the money to get it right.......& you will always have the right tool for good.....not some homemade tool that may or may not work....

Chacal sells quality parts & tools....

Yes, he does, I used a homemade one but it melted so I broke down and bought one from Len.

Shoulda done that in the first place, I was halfway to his price with the materials to build the failed one.
