I saw it even while counting the passes.

The lack of attention and common sense of most people today never ceases to amaze me.

i hate how psychology experiments intentionally screw with people then act surprised at the results. if they just said "watch this video" most people would notice all the subtle nuances; well probably.

I think it was less about "not seeing the gorilla" and it took alot of effort to watch the passes.

What size tv was this original shown on for the test? 19? 15?
What size monitor and how small of a you tube video did you watch it on?
How good are you at focusing and watching just the white players?
Was a color change from orange to red really that major? NO.

Yes obviously, we can focus to hard and miss the gorilla... But as mentioned the tester screwed with us and then acts surprised when people missed stuff.

I wish I could get paid to do the pointless and "no duh" studies you see on the news at least once a week.

"Watching TV leads to less exercise and obesity in children" - NO SHIT DUMBASS :)
^^ That right there is 3 seperate studies I could have gotten paid for!! And who needs to collect data and do any work to prove it?
