Sup guys and gals. I'm a vrod owner and my wife just got her license and came across a $500 steal for a runiing '83 midnight maxim. It's not pretty but it's her first bike. DeadlyDodge has a photoshop pic of what I'd like her bike to eventually look like.

Can anyone recommend a rear fender that would follow the arc of the wheel and give me "Rune" (honda??) look??? i want the fender to hug the rear wheel like that. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks for the input. Looks like an awesome build. Your fenders have an classic Indian look to them. My goal is to have minimal gap between the fender and tire, which may facilitate mounting the fender to the swingarm to maintain that look despite wheel travel.

I also want the side skirts to folllow the arc of tbd wheel, but only covering the tire, keeping the wheel itself fully visible. What do you think???

The old indians was what I had i mind. I think you'd have to mount it to the swing arm if you want it Rune tight to the wheel or have a rigid bike. You could certainly reshape the fenders but cutting them length wise too. Or make a jig to bend the sheet metal around.
