ND starter brushes

    I'm looking for Nd starter brushes for my 86 Maxim 700. I would like to get new ones. I have a two brush y15 nippon denso starter, Max is the N model air cooled. Will these from Old bike barn work?


    Description:
    Pack of 2 Replacement Starter Brushes. 12mm x 9mm x 6mm. Brush for most Nippon Denso 4 Brush Starter Motors. 1 pc. (+) Brush Insulated Lead. 1 pc. (-) Brush non insulated lead.

    Applications: Nippon Denso 4 Brush Starter Motors - Yamaha XZ550 RJ/RK Vision 82-83, XJ650, XJ750, XJ900 Maxim /Seca 81-83, YFM350, YFM400 All Years. Kawasaki ZX900 84-86, ZL900 84-86, ZX750 87-91, ZX-7 88-95, Honda TRX250 85-87, Suzuki GS550 77-83, GS700 77-83, GS750 77-83, GS850 77-83, GS1000 77-83.

    all`s i can tell you is that the xj700n and xj700s and the xj700xs all have the same brushes, and they are 17mm in length when new, dont know if this will help you in your search.

    My Mom in Colorado found the right ones at Bike Bandit and is Sending them to me for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

    Got my brushes today,GENUINE YAMAHA, Imagine that. I thought they would be some kind of generic model from China. Bravo for Bike Bandit!!!
