Sold my first bike today...What was yours?

Well finally sold my r6 today. I had picked up an xj about a month ago, with intentions to sell my r6 and make out with some spare cash.... well finally sold it today and made out pretty well. End of story. Just though I'd share and maybe ask what was your first bike...?

 

a maxim 700, which i am also trying to sell

 

first bike - 2007 kawasaki ex650, bought new, stolen a month before its first birthday, caught the guy who stole it, police refused to press charges because he gave them a fake bill of sale and they bought it. wouldn't even pursue posession of stolen property charges.

second bike - 89 honda cbr 600 f1, barely rode it, sold.

current bike is my 550 and i love the stupid thing.

 

78 Honda XL175 back in 1980 just after graduating high school. Sold it a year later went with out a bike for nearly 25 years (wont do that again)

 

Mine was a 1971 Honda 750 K1, bought used in 1974. Quite a bike back then.

3rd bike 1978 it175 long gone
4th bike 1978 it 400 long gone (but still buzzing around the hills of wv)
5th bike 1976 tt500 long gone converted to flat track racer
6th bike 1997 xr400r sold it last summer...it was a great bike
6th bike 1985 vf700s had it for 8 months put 8 miles on it
7th bike 1984 maxim-x have had it for the last 3 1/2 months and have 3500 miles on it so far...

 

My First Bike was a 2008 DRZ 400. I wish I hadn't sold it, what an awesome bike!

 

my first bike was a '92 gsxr 750 and I wish I still had it. Now I have the '90 gsxr 1100, '83 xj750, and an '81 cb750f project sitting in pieces in the shed

 

First bike was a ninja 250, got it cheap, learned to ride, and sold it for a profit.

 

'79 KZ200, wish I still had it to loan to friends so they can learn to ride.

 

(It's in my sig.) 1966 Honda CB160 Sport! The "!" was part of the name, it's not just punctuation. Considered a full sized bike in those days.

Rode it for a summer, blew it up, rebuilt it and sold it at a slight profit. Not only my first bike but the first motor I ever rebuilt too.

 

PE250... My cousin still has it in a container in his back yard... Been sitting there for something like 15 yrs now. He does live 1500 kms away.

 

Started off with the 2002 R6


Then sold the R6 and picked up a 2007 SV650N


Sold the SV650N then picked up a 2007 FZ1 and made it naked


Sold the FZ1N and picked up a 2007 SV1000S, but it will be sold this Sunday because I hate clipons =)


Here is my Fiancee's 1981 Seca550 that I'm in the process of fixing up while she learns to ride =)

 

1968 Honda CB450 twin.Got it around 1981 or 82

Then several Honda 750's,1978-83 models

Then a 2000 Harley Sportster 883

But now I finally have the best :wink:
