    The mechanic at our local UJM shop has worked on many of them and has one in there now, waiting on parts. He says they're awesome bikes with tons of torque, but they do have some bottom end weaknesses, and the big unwieldy Six is a bear to lug around corners... I imagine it does not do any favors to the bike's center of gravity.

    Oh, I dunno...

    I participate on the VJMOG forum and there are a couple CBX enthusiasts there who swear by 'em. They're only an inch or so wider than the 750/900/1100 fours.

    I'd love to have one, though. They pop up on the Orlando Craigslist every now and again. Pricey, though, that's for sure!

    Everyone I've heard talk about riding and hearing CBX's raves about them but those are the one's that are running. The folks I hear from that talk about wrenching on them say that all that long crank and cam shaft has a tendancy to act like a jump rope and wear the middle sets of bearings between the chain and the ends. Much more of a problem on the KZ1300 than the CBX though.
