    last nite i was moving my ignition switch got a little smoke from the hot wire (had the ground removed from batt but it moved and made contact with terminal).now i have no juice.are there fuses somewhere? its a 85 700x

    the main fuse is under the seat little square box with a red wire going in both ends comes right off the battery if this blows you wont have any juice anywhere there is a little tab pop it there is a fuse inside

    Check the main fuse. it's under the seat in it's own little black
    rubber holder and all by it lonsome next to the frame
    cross member
    Unless it's been messed with before there should be a spare.
    Unlike all the other fuses on the 700-this one is a "bullet" fuse and should
    be 30 amp.

    Make sure to replace the spare fuses at first opportunity!!!
