Brake light cable problem.

    About three years ago a new master cylinder for an xj700n came up on ebay
    and I bought it and put it away for a rainy day, well the rainy day is here but there is a problem. The plug on the brake light cable doesn't match up with the one on the new cylinder and my nearest dealer is less than helpful. Any ideas how I can get round this? Hope the link to the photo works.

    I'm a new rider and always use both brake, which help since my brake cable is gone or tucked away somewhere. It only sucks when I want flash my brakes.

    I'll make it right sooner than later.
