So, I have everything ready to go, carbs have been THOROUGHLY cleaned and reinstalled. Now comes the fun part.

I have never synced the carbs before, I'm running a 1980 maxim 650. I have the tubes connected to the drains on the carb, but I'm kind of confused of what to look for.

Could someone start me off in the right direction? What am I supposed to do, what am I supposed to look for?

    Thanks in advance!!

You do not synch to the drains. The drains are for fuel level.

The synch uses the vacuum nippled on the intake boots.

The fuel level write up is by schmuckaholic here: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=2 ... level.html

The synch I'm not sure where there's a good write up. You'll need a synch tool of somekind and then it's balance 1-2 then 3-4 then 2-3 if you only have a two tube tool. engine should be warm when making adjustments.
