I found a blue 1984 Maxim 1100 that hopefully I can pick up this weekend.
I've never seen this colour before, I've done the search- black, red, maybe silver.
It's a nice blue. maybe a little darker than the banner at the top. Emblems on.
No chance it's factory? Even if it's Canadian?

    Good luck with the 11-Hundred.

I hope it runs good and is free of the Transmission Problems that plagued that model.

(Maybe the PO or PPO had it painted.)

I was pretty sure I knew the proper colors, but I wanted to check with some people with more experience to see if I was right. Nice color though, if I get it I will leave it.

Both of my brothers have had 82 1100's, and I keep missing out on my chance to grab one. My truck is gassed up and my supervisor's bike trailer is ready to go as soon as I hear from the owner.

    Thanks for the answer.

    Looks blue to me.

I just had a look at the photos on Wikipedia, I can almost see what they mean, you might call it indigo which is halfway between but I think its definitely more blue than purple.
