    i sure do need to get rid of that seat though, anyone got any recommendations for an easy fix?

    My seat is like that too -- maybe it's a Yamaha thing? My buddies call it the "Tempurpedic butt cushion" lol

    Nice bike...
    Thats what my bike looked like when I started.
    Use the stock seat pan make a custom seat with firmer foam...
