I know, I know, I KNOW. "Old School" is WAAAAAAAAAY over used (hey at least I didn't spell it SKOOL), but that's kinda the look I like. I would love to have an early bobber, but, alas, the pocket book says no to a traditional bobber, so I'm hoping to meld my XJ into a bobber-esque type ride.

So, now to the question, will these tires work sufficiently on my XJ and it's stock rims?

    Rear: LINK

Thanks in advance. Oh, and if anyone has any good pictures of XJ's that have been bobbed, please flood this thread with them, I need ideas, especially concerning seats and rear fender mounting.

Dunlop makes some very nice "Old School" tread tires that are very responsive (radials win hands down). They have a Harley line that looks like the oem tires, but with all the Dunlop tech built in. Nice tire, might be what you need. I'll try to find pictures somewhere of them.

see, that right there is pretty much what I'm going for. A little more paint, maybe, but that's the look. Was even looking at diamond plate for the side covers since I'm missing one anyway. Anymore pics of that Kevineleven? Larger?

In my gallery are a few more. I'm gearing up for total disassembly and rework/paint etc. over the winter months. I have a set of side covers for sale if you're interested. Pics in the for sale section under (drumroll, please) for sale items.
