I went out and jumped head first in to taking my grab bar off, and now I'm stuck at the turn signals. I have a 1980 XJ Maxim 650 and am wanting to attach my sissy bar. How the crap do I get the turn signals off to free the grab bar?

    Help...

Ok. Figured it out. For the sake of people searching for this answer later... The giant rubber spacer is actually a screw. Get some pliers or w/e, grab the ribbed area in the middle and twist.

Easier than that is to use an open-ended wrench and remove the nut on the inside of the fender. The nut and washer will float on the wire until you disconnect the wire connector. then the whole thing pulls right out. But, you said you already got it so you're all set.
