Well I finally got some exhausts on my bike a few days ago, so I decided yesterday to take it for a spin (I will post some pics of that later). I was nearly empty so I decided to go down to the auto parts store and bought some sea foam. Throw half the can in the bike and filled it up. I was at my parents house when I saw a big black cloud rolling over in the direction of where I live so I took off figured I should get back home soon. 3 miles out of town it starts to rain and another minute and its pouring. When I pulled up to the stop light my bike died. I tryed to get it started at the light would start so I pushed it down the street and got under a awning at a Walgreens, I managed to get it started and drove the rest of the way home. 4 hours later I decide to go get some ice cream and see the damage of the storm, apparently I got home just in time, there where trees down and apparently we where considered a disaster area or something, when I get home I got off to open the garage door and when I put it back into first it snubed even though the clutch was fully engaged, tried agin 2 times same thing.

Today I went out with the intent to fix it, I took of the tank off and followed the clutch line down to the engine and everything seemed to be fine so I started the bike up and everything worked fine. I took the bike out for a spin and went about 60 miles worked fine. Got home and did the same thing but only once, my buddy wanted to take it for a spin so he took it around and the block and once again the clutch worked fine. Sometimes it clunks a bit when you put it into gear but nothing too bad.

I guess my question is there anything I can fix or tune to get it working 100%? Or is it just the rain? Or do I gotta tighten to clutch cord? I think this is the problem but it would be weird for it to fail just once in a while.

bikes tend to clunk when going from neutral into first. nothing you can do about it. the lower the idle the softer the clunk though. your idle should be about 1050 rpms.

but if it's a really bad clunk then you've got a clutch not being fully disengaged. either clutch wearing out OR cable not tight enough.

Assuming your clutch is in OK condition, I was told that the clutch can/does pop/jerk/clunks a bit. This is considered normal, but excessive jerking is not.

I mostly get it in 1-2 and 2-1. I'm also a new rider and don't always release the clutch at the correct rate.

Generally its just a normal bit sometimes it a bit more and 3 times it snubbed alll the way, I'm just keeping a eye on the wire.

It could be my idle with the clunk sometimes it a bit high depending on the choke.

what do you mean snubbed? and even if you pull your clutch in, your bike wont run with the kickstand down and in gear
