Today I noticed a buddy of mine has a BeadRider seat cover and I asked him about it. He said it's wicked good for preventing monkey butt - something I definitely have an issue with (who doesn't on a 98 degree day?).

Anybody have any experience? They're a little expensive ($35 or more), for what it's made of, considering you can buy a lot of wooden beads on ebay for a dollar or two and string it together with some fishing line...

The one right-there in that picture ... is THE only one I have ever seen.

Looks like Ball Bearings that would make you slide out of position in an avoidance maneuver.

    To each his own; though!

seems like it would snap on a rough corner.

Nope! They don't snap and as for collision avoidance slippage I'm not so sure. Hasn't been an issue for me. Yet!

Seems like when the going gets tough we might transfer weight to the foot pegs for lateral stability beads or not.
