Looking for a simple headlight assembly. Curious if anyone has some reviews. In the market for a 5 3/4" round assembly, finish not important (flat black idealy, but would paint), and doesn't need mounting hardware (I'm a good fabricator).

I see some stuff on ebay, quality looking for $120ish, some cheapo stuff for $30.

Anyone find something similar to what I'm looking for and have a review?

Bought my headlight from J&PCycles for $70.00, spent a extra $10.00 on a bracket. Great quality and I'm very happy with it. Just don't look for a headlight to fit your bike in the search, look at all of them.

O&B's right, look at everything and let your mind open up and it's amazing what you'll be able to adapt. Whenever I mod a bike, usually the first place I look is for auto parts that will cross over. They are, for the most part a LOT cheaper then bike parts and often, the quality is equal or higher!! I've bought auto 7" beams for 6 bucks, coils for 5, halogen running lights for 15 that all lasted for years and looked and worked great!

I'm not a cruiser guy by any stretch but that red bike sure looks nice with that nice chrome headlight!!

That's a good deal, looks like mine except I have the blue lens. Have you seen the chrome skull headlight? Look's awesome, but I couldn't see myself spending $700.00 on a headlight.
Ok Jeff, whatta you mean by red bike?
