My fuel tap stuck on and my float seals failed me so it dumped almost a full tank of gas into the engine (I could see the fuel level in the oil sight glass with the bike on the side stand) so it's drained out and I have I new filter but did it damage anything?

yeah, if u didn't ride it like that, or you parked it while riding OK, it should be fine. If it ran a little shitty, it was cause of case pressure. you'll be the only person who knows that answer after you starter up again, good luck and let us know

Others have actually ridden with gas diluted oil without immediately destroying the engine. Happened to me with a V8 Mustang on the break-in run. The fuel pump diaphragm gave out.

your floats are supposed to shut the fuel off too. but they didn't and your engine flooded out. which means they won't shut off when the engine is running either.

floats shut the fuel off and on as the carbs need more fuel or have enough fuel. with the bike not running. they don't need fuel and shouldn't have let the carbs flood out.

Take a couple of qt's of the cheepist oil at the store and run it
through to remove all fuel-then put in your fav high dollar stuff.
