shaving the seat

    So I've decided on using my old seat pan( with some cutting) for my new solo seat. Seeing that i only have one shot at this anyone have any tips on it?

    i used a mixture of my reciprocating saw/keyhole saw/hacksaw to get it hacked down. others have suggested using an electric carving knife. here's how mine turned out:

    i think it looks great, and i only used tools i had laying about the garage.
