Have searched thro' and found that the Harley mufflers seem to be a good replacment for the stock ones ,will l have to rejet the carbs after fitting these seems some say yes others no...or is it just try it??. is there a specific muffler l should be looking for :D .
Also some have fitted the Norton Dustall will the same go for those??????
Reason l ask that spares for this bike seem almost impossible to get over here in the UK and shipping here is EXPENSIVE. 8O

Any guys in the UK who have changed ther mufflers let me know what you did and where you got them from.

    THANKS GUYS IN ADVANCE

You cant predict exactly whats gonna happen. When your dealing with 20+ year old bikes they all develop their own personality's and it really comes down to the specifics. So all of this on top of the fact that its not a exact science you can just put onto paper and solve. Basically you gotta put them on there and go from there. However if you find some pipes that you can get, I would throw a link to them up on this site and see if anyone else uses them and they can give you advice on what they did to get the bike working correctly and you can follow in their footsteps fine tuning along the way.

There is some basic stuff you can count on depending if the pipes are more/less restrictive then stock but I wouldn't know where to start as far as that is concerned.

I was poking around JC Whitney today, they actually had some decent replacements for short money.
