Needle Shims

    I've done some searching and find some threads that say the starting point for shimming slide needles is .010" and some saying .100"

    Which is it?

    .10 seems a bit much.

    Well, .125 = 1/8". I would say that's a lot of lift for a needle, and for one washer.
