Heading to Australia, looking for motorcycle salvage yards

Hi All,

I'm going to be traveling to Sydney, Australia this Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 (I'll be there all week), and wanted to reach out to any fellow XJ'ers who might know of any cycle salvage yards in the Sydney area. I'm looking for the elusive police seat from an early eighties bike. I have an 82 XJ750 that will some day get modded and would love to have one of these seats for my project.

If anyone knows of any yards or police seats for sale in the Sydney area please respond to this post.

Thanks for the warning. I hadn't found much doing a search of eBay so I thought I'd put out feelers here.

I agree cities are all the same. This is my third trip to Sydney. I did a walkabout 5 years ago and went from Sydney all the way to Townsville and Sydney was my least favorite part; Byron Bay, Nimbin and Frayser Island were my favorites. I will take a day trip to Corrimal to visit a cousin which will at least get me out of the city.

metro motorcycle wreckers on silverwater road real easy to get to pff the 4 free way. Sorry if its a bit late but i only just joined.

they dont have big slavage yards like in the US. its all wreckers that charge like wondered bulls. but most is imported late model stuff from japan.
