    Hello,
    can anyone give some help witth my xs400? I just bought one, not running.
    I soaked the carbs and re-asembled, the bike came with no fuel lines-
    anyone know what size?
    Also, the petcock has two valves-anyone know what size fuel line i need? Thanks!

    Ahh the SOHC 400, closer to the XS650 than the XJ's

    Petcock is vacuum activated, larger line will go to the carb the smaller needs a vacuum hose to connect to a barb on the cab boot...
    Not sure if the diameter, but someone will chime in.....

    Hmmm..... measure the petcock outlet or carb inlet. It'll either be 3/16, 1/4 or 5/16.

    Or, go to Ace Hardware and buy 18" of each size for about $2 each. Use whichever one fits the best...
