I am looking for a rear stand for my XJ but wasn't sure which one to buy. Anyone have any experience with this?

You mean a "racebike" type stand that lifts the rear axle? Or are you simply looking for a centerstand?

I haven't seen the need for one, but be careful. Some of them require "spools" on the bike to lift against and I don't know how you'd install them (spools) on your XJ.

Yeah, wasnt' sure about he spools. I also wasntt sure how I could adjust my chain without a stand. I don't see a flat spot to put something under the bike and I really didn't fancy the idea of having my wife hold the bike up while I turned some screws.
