    I have no idea what it would have to pass. It looks way too massive to be a side car. It does specify that it attaches to a Yamaha Wild Star cruiser. Pretty crazy

    The author of the article has mis-identified the Aircraft.

    Warbird aficionados will instantly recognize the profile and canopy design of the Legendary 1940's Military Trainer "T-6". The North American Aircraft built famous AT-6Cs.

    Primarily intended for use as a Trainer, the T-6 was in production during the period of the Air Wars over Europe, and got ordered outfitted with guns by the United States Army Air Corps, United States Navy and the Royal Air Force.

    A favorite of War Bird restorers, the T-6 was powered by the incredible "WASP" 9-Cylinder Inline Rotary OHV Turbo Engine that made the Pratt & Whitney Company a favorite Government Contractor.

    Engine Parts and Tools are still being made for the many Aircraft powered by the Wasp Rotary by SunAirParts of Valencia, Calif.

    Not to nitpick, but 'inline rotary turbo' is incorrect. It is a radial engine. In the aviation context, 'inline' would describe the V-12 in the P-51s (or, for that matter, the ME109), and a 'rotary' engine has a fixed crankshaft that the entire engine rotates around, like on the WWI- era Sopwith Camels. And the Wasp R-1340 engine was naturally aspirated, not turbocharged.

    (sorry, aviation geek here)

    The later version of the ME109 used Methanol Injection and was quite fast but often turned into a fireball. 50 caliber bullets will do that. :wink:

    Did you know that in Australia, as we drive on the other side of the road, an outfit has the side car on the opposite side of the bike? Side cars are a rare sight here. I saw an FJ1200 once in a shop with a side car.

    The guy owns an amusement park, which means he has a fabrication and repair shop (for the rides) at his disposal, and "free" workers.

    I bet he built it in 2 months when workers weren't busy, and it's a promotional write-off, making it "free".

    hahahaha i HATE my turning radius in my taurus. off topic i know, but that bike is sweet. I wonder if it slows it down much..
