oil filter?

    SO I got everything in order and I went to go buy an oil filter but I still dont have a book on my bike. I want to make sure that the oil filter is located on the left side of the bike when you are sitting on it about right in the middle of the engine.

    "right in the middle of the engine" is correct, but it's up front between the exhaust headers, external cap with one bolt holding it onto the crank case.

    Front centre bottom of the engine to be specific - the filter housing is a finned, cannister shape with a small bolt head right in the middle.
    The oil drain bolt is a much larger bolt head located just below the filter housing.
