New to the Forum

Hi,

Just joined the forum. I have a '86 XJ700 Maxim X. Bought it three years ago with 12k on the odometer. It was in sad shape cosmetically,sat in a shed for three years.rust,pits,bad paint,torn seat..
Right now its in superb shape,been painted ,<by my brother> candy burgandy over a silver metal flake with painted gold pinstripeing.
I also did about $1000 in chrome. The two rear fender grab rails,the large backrest,front fender mount,the exhaust collars,and rechromed the four headpipes. I recovered both seats and the backrest pad,new pistons and seals for the front brakes,and replaced alot of the plastichrome < God bless EBAY!> "Maxi" runs strong,excellent tranny and clutch,carbs are finally dialed in properly :lol: She joins in the garage with a new "05 Harley Davidson VRSCB V-rod

Welcome to the forum! Your pix obviously didn't post. Try cutting down on the file size and try it again. If you don't have software that will allow you to do that, post it on a photo site such as photobucket as their software will allow you to do that. We'd love to see your bike!
