    Hello all,

I am looking for the original PN# for the YAMAHA decal on the tail section of my 1982 XJ650RJ. I already have the superceded PN#, but the decal is differant.

I would like to get an original decal and then send it to Reproduction Decals to have them repop them. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks, Phil

Addendum: Okay I got the original PN# from Ron Hurd. It is 353-24786-02-00. Thanks Ron!

Now where would be the best place to find an old discontinued Yamaha decal???

    Thanks, Phil

Welcome and good luck. With the latest in technology, you should be able to get what you want made up from a photo if you have a clear shot.

    BlueMaxim,

Thanks, but that gives me the superceded PN#. I have the original PN#, now all I have to do is to find a Dealer with one sitting in inventory!

    Robert,

True, but if I can find an original I can send it to someone like Reproduction Decals and they can repop them so everyone can have one! Now I just have to find one! Is there a way I can find a list of Yamaha dealers and how long they have been a dealer? My higher chance of success if they were around selling these bikes new in 1982.

    Thanks, Phil
