about to get an 85 xj 700. I've read great things about them, but I was told it'll need the clutch rebuilt soon. Any ideas on where I might find some parts? No luck searching on my own. Thanks.

Depends on what you need...how many miles on the bike? I've seen clutch parts on ebay..basket,etc..plates you should be able to get from your stealer.

There are several companies that make Motorcycle Clutch Parts and Hardware.

You can get a "Kit" that will include - everything - you need to make the whole clutch like Brand New.

Well, like I said, I don't have it yet. I'll be looking to recieve it within a week or so (whenever MD MVA get's off their butt, and sends the guy the title.) As soon as I have it I can put everything up and can be sure that it is completely accurate. I suppose I'll repost once I get it, but until then I was trying to price things, could you send me some of the sits that have those kits?

I appreciate the replies so far. You guys are great!!

Welcome to the site twisted, like the previous posts said, there is plenty of clutch stuff out there at a fairly reasonable cost.

Good luck and welcome to the site
