From now on, im pretty much using my seca 750 as my primary means of transportation. The car will be used as backup for rainy days ect.

Anyone have any input for any modifications or any maintenence issues. First thing i want to do, is put on some foam handle grips. Any suggestions on which to get or were to get them?

Pick your favorite cycle shop and go see what they got -- you'll find something you like.

Try a couple if they have samples - they're different diameters, different materials, designs, etc...

Just remember we've got 7/8" bars - not 1". Buy appropriately.

You can get a new set of grips for about $10, they just slip on your bars over the throttle tube so you don't need to replace the throttle.

Yeah - mine were called "Foam 'n' Chrome" grips. I like 'em because they're larger diameter, and help with the vibration. Cost me all of about $20 Canadian.

I was thinking of switching from the stock grips I have now to a set of rubber Ourys. The stockers I have now are too hard for my liking. I love the Ourys on my ATV's so why not try them on the bike. My neighbor has foam grips on his CB750 and I don't really like the feel. I get alot of my parts from www.denniskirk.com they have good prices and shipping is $6 or free if the order is over $100.

I just bought some foam grips on ebay.(link below)
I've never replaced grips before, so any advice would be appreciated.
Especially the throttle grip. Do they just slip on and off, or do you have to apply something to hold them on?
    Thanks

These are the most comfortable and vibration reducing grips I have ever used. I have em on my XJ and three other bikes I own. They look nice on too, much better than the web site photo. Try em, you'll like em!
