Is this what the enrichment cable should look like?

I was with another XJer on the weekend doing some tweaking and the question was raised about whether this is the correct enrichment cable for an XJ750RL. Now the frame on this bike is a 900RK so I'm wondering if anyone can confirm this for me.

That looks to be a throttle cable installed backwards on the choke there would be no reason for all the adjustment that provides.

I agree with waldo but if it's all working properly maybe it's not a problem..

I think Waldo hit it on the head. Appears to be a clever adaptation of a throttle cable.

    Necessity is a mother...

That it may have been a throttle cable came up as we were discussing it, and yep it does work. Looks like I can prioritise other work then. Thanks guys.
