650 Part Out

Just got an 82 650 Maxim for a complete part out. I have everything for the bike except for the carbs. Most of the parts are in fair condition and some are in pretty good condition. Let me know what you want and make an offer.

 

Been cleaning this bike as I've been stripping it and Man, some of these parts are in amazing condition! All the elec is immaculate, gauges look great, side covers, rear fender, shufter cover, engine covers, look awesome. Hit me up with a PM and I'd be happy to send pics if youd like em too. Or post em

how much do you want for the side covers?

 

How about chrome airbox covers, and the engine covers that go over the ignition rotor thing.

 

$30 each for the side covers plus $10 for shipping
$20 for both airbox covers
does the ignition cover you're talking about have a yamaha logo on it?

 

How much for the handlebar risers?

 

$25 for both risers and all the bolts. $20 without the bolts

 

Hi, how about the exhaust pipes and mufflers, and the gas tank with emblems?

the mufflers look really good, the header pipes are rusty, but not rusted through. they're still usable and i think a lot of the rust will come off. the gas tank looks great on the outside and has a little rust on the inside. i think if it's treated it should be fine. the emblems are in really good condition too. i can send you pictures if you want. let me know.

 

Yes pictures would be great. My son is riding the Maxim 650 and he does need those parts so I hope we can work something out with them.

pics of the newly cleaned seat and side covers. the little bit of gold still on the seat in this picture did come off, so it looks like new now.

 

left and right switches are still available. 20 for each switch complete with the wires. those look really good. i'll send pictures of everything tomorrow.

yes, the cover does say yamaha yics and it is a 650. it's in pretty good condition with a little pitting and some scratches. the airbox covers look great on the outside with some rust on the inside.

the grab bar is in pretty good condition and i was thinking it would go for $25 plus shipping.
yes, the speedometer reads exactly 557.6, the bike was barely ridden before it was left to sit, so all the parts are in amazing condition.

 

Is the headlight the round or square kind? Mind snapping a pic?

do you still have your ic ignitor,rear shocks,front fork emblem and front reflectors (the rectangular one on both sides under the tank). how much? pm me, thanks

 

do you still have the intake tubes that the carbs bolt onto. they go from the carbs to the engine. if so are there any cracks? i will take them if they are good condition.

 

Do you still have the exhaust? If so, how much. Could use the 4 airbox boots (carbs to airbox) if available.
