    It's a 14mm which is correct.

    Thanks!

Also, with buying a kit, can I later get an adapter for an 18mm?

    I don't remember seeing an 18mm. Only 10, 12 and 14mm.

I will comment that this is the older model (I bought one under the same listing years ago) and is typically difficult to keep from arcing due to the high tension lead design. The newer plug is designed with a longer insulator to eliminate this problem. Unless you want to monkey with it, I'd pass on this model.
    Good luck.

    What will arcing do exactly?

The arc is supposed to occur inside the combustion chamber to ignite the fuel. If it occurs outside of the chamber, you will not get combustion and the color tune is useless.

Hmm, well the auction says money back guarantee. There is a couple of other auctions I might just keep my eye on.

I have to agree with Robert on this I had the bought same model my first go round and had arcing problems with it. I actually gave it away. Maybe Bills coils are weak.

Ditto on the "stay the hell away from the ebay colortune" bit, at least if it's the model 500. Seems that's an automotive version that doesn't work well on these bikes. I swore off the things for a while, until I had some updated models fall into my hands. These work much better.

Get thee to Chacal and save yourself the frustration that I went through.

hey, if my coils are weak does that mean it would run even better with new coils?
