FS: 1982 Maxim 650 Washington, DC Area

Morning-

Well, I dont want to do it, but its time for me to move on. I purchased the bike a little bit ago and have been using it for my daily commute. My plan was to ride through the winter like I normally do, but my health has other plans.

Bike details: 371xx miles. I will ride it a bit more (I hope).
-Purple in color
-Just passed inspection a few months ago. I had the bike looked over by the shop owner who restores bikes. It received a clean bill of health.
-I had the gas tank cleaned out (glass beads) as well

If you have any questions let me know. I will be including a parts bike as well. I believe its a Seca 400 but will need to check again. I will post pics later tonight.

Right now I am looking to get about $600 for both bikes, but am willing to hear offers. Heck if ya don't want them both take one. :lol: As of April I have been riding again. The mileage has gone up a bit but not much. I am willing to travel a bit to meet folks, so let me know.

Here is a link to the pics. I have had a few folks show intereset but have backed out. I am selling both bikes for $500.

 

Dang, if you still have these in a couple weeks, I may have to make a road trip. Clear title??

 

The Maxim has a clear title. The Seca parts bike does not. I will be including the parts you saw in the pics as well. 4 into 1 exhaust, extra signals, etc.

 

Make this into a holiday gift. Make an offer folks and lets see what happens.

Haha. I had a few guys on another forum show interest. Set some meet times but no show. Still interested? BTW, did you get the pics I sent you? I took a few more (ignore the crap on the floor, I was being "helped" by my 6 year old LOL).

 

yeah I had a look at them. I've got to talk to the wife then see if I can clear shop space. I've got a tiny garage full of big toys and parts of toys.

 

Haha. I hear that. Part of the reason I am looking to unload them. I cant ride in the cold anymore, health issues, so I get to be a fair weather rider now. Oh well, better then the alternative.
