Got my stock airbox inn thanks to yall ( no more pods :D ), but now that it is done it reaves up to 3 grand once it warms up. By the way the carbs are really clean and I lubed the throttle cable.

Air leak or running out of fuel are you riding when this happens or just sitting in garage?

Question that will get me laughed at. Were is the fuel filter on the bike? Could that be part of it.

The factory filter is inside the tank, on the petcock.

You may have throttle shaft seals that are drying out (8 of them)

3000 rpm's requires Main Jet Fuel.

Inspect and Test for Manifold Leaks, Cracks, Mis-applied Clamps and such.

If you find NO Air Leaks:

Bench Sync using strips of 3X5 Cards to start-off with CLOSED Throttles.
Get the Bike to IDLE using PILOT SCREW Adjustments -- Only.

Once you have the Bike Idling on the Pilot Circuit without AIR entering through the Throttles ... you'll have the Basis to continue Fine Tuning.

I bet you are extremely rich now that you pulled the pods.

Acting similar to having the choke part way one.

Personally, I'd go all the way back to the beginning with tuning the carbs since the air box is going to make a TON of difference.
COUNT the turns as you screw them all the way back in and then come out about 3 1/2 turns to be on the rich side. Give that a shot and see.
I'm betting you were more than 5 turns out with pods and stock jets. You can always go back to the old settings, but without going all the way in, you have no idea where it is now.

Hopefully you can get a good sync and then start some plug chop/adjust/resync procedures.
