I'm probably beating a dead horse but I've been searching for over an hour to no avail.

I'm building a bobber out of anXJ550 what mini speedometer am I looking for to be accurate.

This is what I'm looking at if this is the wrong one someone please stop me.

The biggest issue I'm having is not being able to say the ratio is 2:1 or 1:1 or 2240:60. If I knew the ratio this would be a lot easier.

Thanks in advance. When I get done with this build I'm building a tab and putting all this info I've been gathering in it.

XJs are the good old 2240:60, as were most all Jap bikes from the beginning through the early nineties.

does that mean that my '82 750 can also use any of these models as long as they offer it in the 2240 ratio?

    Yep.

I yanked the 85mph POS out of my '83 550 and replaced it with a 150mph speedo from an XJ900...

    Fitz, that looks AWESOME!!!!

It makes me think about what could be done to the Maxim's boring speedometer.
