    With my XJ out of action till I can recondition a carb diaphragm and with no time to do it with exams pressing down on me an anticipated 250km bike ride to Port Campbell with the wife for a romantic/adventure weekend away without kids was looking like a sedate drive in the station wagon.

    That's till a good mate heard of my plight and offered me the use of his Honda VFR 800. A 2007 model with only 8,000km it looks like the adventure is back on :D

    Yes it's good to have mates.
