    hey guys,

i just got my airbox in the mail ( my bike didnt come with one) and i am having some trouble figuring out where everything goes. i need to know where these go:

    starter solenoid
    airbox bolts..... rather mounts
fuse panel ( i figure it goes on top)
    miscelaneous wiring

what i would like is a bunch of different shots with your seats off, from multiple angles so that i can figure everything out.

    thanks!!!

Along with that question... I'm wanting to move back to the stock airbox from the pod filters a previous owner installed. I took the bike to a car wash to spray it down, and of course forgot to cover up the pods so I had to sit in the parking lot for 30 min while they aired out. Thankfully, it was a windy day. Those interested in pod filters, beware! No rain riding for you. (not that you'd want to)

Anyways.... I have an airbox and filter I've purchased and it looks pretty much impossible to get on without first removing the engine or everything under the frame where the battery is stored. Any suggestions on how to get an airbox back under the frame?

I would think you could pull the carbs off and slip it in?

well i ended up putting things where they fit. i am going to just rewire the whole bike anyways, so i saw it fit to mount them where possible, and practical.

i did get the airbox in, and it only took about 5 minutes......

i cut the back portion off, at a slant, so that i could fit it right in without any hassle. i have some amazing glue at work meant for plastic repair, and will utilize it to put it back together, but surprisingly enough, it fits so snug in there it wont ever move!!!

kentownsend - thanks for that info. Not a bad idea, I might end up doing that..

Can anyone comment on the difficulty/possibility of getting the airbox installed in one piece?
