One thing I am looking for in my rebuild is a new set of highway pegs. The stock brackets and pegs are functional, but don't give my bike the look I am going for. I would like the pegs to be about 6-10" farther forward (don't care if they rub during turns).

Not sure if anyone has found aftermarket pegs that work, be it from Kuryakin or others. I thought I may be able to use the stock "engine guards" to mount the highway pegs off of.

Any input is welcome... I have so many parts to fabricate for the bike, finding a part already manufactured is always a huge blessing.

Mine are mounted to the crash-bar...... They've been on it since I've owned the bike (1987).. Have no idea who made them. Shouldn't be a difficult fabrication though...

The stock pegs on mine are in the same place... I am looking for ones that extend 6-10" farther than stock. If there are ones that mount on the stock "engine/crash guard," that is what I am looking for.

The TC Bros controls are EXACTLY what I was looking for. They don't extend very far, but will give me the riding stance I am wanting... Thanks for the info, I have already ordered them. They have quite a bit of products for my project.

I just started the primer phase of paint so the pegs will be installed in a month or so. After mocking them up, I am really pleased with how they look. Again, thanks for the reference, it is much easier to buy something which is already made than to attempt to fabricate it.
