    Other than a Service Manual, where would be a good reliable source for torque specs? I didn't see a post on here...maybe there is one and I missed it.

    PM me and I'll send you a scan of the chart from the factory book.

    Wanny buy a factory 550 (Seca only, no Max supplement) book, cheap?

    You know, I just might have a Haynes manual...I just don't know where it is. When I moved to my current house, I still haven't unpacked all of the boxes...and I'll bet it's in one of those. Now I have a reason to unpack them.

    Rule of thumb, you can't go far wrong with:
    5mm = .5kg/m
    6mm = 1.0
    8mm = 2.2
    10mm =3.5
    12mm = 5.5

    Good info, thanks Wizard.

    (Note to self: Get Metric Torque wrench)

    Or just Google the conversions.

    Already did that...but I'd rather have the metric t.w. instead of having to refer to a chart.

    I built a Dodge 340, a Dodge 360, a Ford 351, and a Sportster 1000 without ever needing a metric torque wrench. Since I'm getting into my Seca "up to my elbows", I should have the proper tools to do the job correctly.

    Thanks again.
