Have been trying to collect from this member for at least a year now, claims in his last private message to me he lost everything and sent me back the seca 750 steering damper. I have not recieved payment of $25 nor the steering damper back. I do not ever expect to get paid. He is a person who does not pay for parts shipped. Please do not do business with him. Just want to let the other members of this fine group know what to expect from him. thanx andreas

Sorry to hear about your difficulty, I'm glad it was only $25. The loss of the steering damper is another matter, they are rather difficult to find.

That sucks, dampers usually come with the rest of the bike attached. People don't realize how far unemployment and the mortgage mess affects everyone.

Yeah but unemployment or buying a house that you shouldn't have doesn't affect your moral character. Your word is the only thing that you alone can decide the worth of, evidently joshus has choosen to make his worth nothing.....and a man who's word can't be relied on isn't much of a man, regardless of his financial woes.

These matters should be reported to a Moderator before you take the matter Public.

The Moderator should have the opportunity to help you settle any dispute before the Forum is used to settle differences between members for any reason.

The Moderator can issue a statement if it is deemed necessary.
Using the Public Forum for such personal matters only serves to let others think that its OK to do so.

Really Rick? XJ has so many silly and unnecessary posts and you want to quash this one? Most of us are grown men and women here.
Everything on here is a personal matter. : ) We all spend our time and money on others opinions.
I personally found andreashweiss VERY useful to the forum.
If andreashweiss can not get the property back, your chances are nil as well.
You can chew me out if you want but, you are asking for trouble by suppressing info on bad guys.

he whom covers up a crime is just as guilty as the one who commits it

Moderators might be thinking more about what the site looks like to a potential member if public posts like this one exist.
    Just saying.

I don't think it's a personal issue but a business issue. The two parties agreed to a deal, the one party renegged on the deal. The wronged party is just letting everyone know what happened and how the deal went down.
Now, on the other hand if one party were to just bad mouth another just for the hell of it I'd say yes, jump in and dlete the thread and the Moderator have a PM chat with the offensive poster. In this situation though I feel it seems more like a public service announcement, much like if a dealer were to rip someone off, why wait for the Moderator to decide what to do and maybe have other forum members lose money in the mean time.
    Just my 2 cents.

Not all members here are bad. I just bought a color tune from member Coryinoz with no problems. He put up with me paying with a money order and even spilt the shipping cost with me. Thanks Coryinoz.

I have to agree with Maxim-x on this one. He wasnt trash talking him or anything, just informing the rest of us of a bad customer. No harm no foul. Just sayin. :)
