    Hi guys,

Please forgive me parachuting into your forum, but I have some parts that I am hoping you guys can identify, and find a home for. These came with a box of parts with my Honda CBX, and I found an ID on one part of SG200, which led me to this site. That appears to be a Seca product code. I am hoping that they may all belong to the same bike, and that somebody here could use them for their project. They are free to a home for the cost of shipping from Massachusetts.

I have subscribed to this thread, but feel free to email me at nils.menten at gmail dot com You should probably NOT count on me seeing a reply to this post, although I'd be happy to answer any questions I receive back here.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Those are the foot pegs and passenger peg mounts, and they look like amixim parts. Can't tell if they are 550, 650, etc. But they are pegs and mounts.

I'm thinking 750 Seca, and I need the footpegs as they look "perfect" !

I vote 750 seca too. I've got a 5G2 model, and that's what my parts look like...could use a brake pedal that hasn't supported the weight of the bike in it's past...

Not a great fan of the CBX, but A+ on that resto.
You put some dough into that.

    Thank you Rick!

In short I powder-blasted it and painted it, then baked it. Another forum member went way deep on the process though and carefully documented it, and it kicks ass.

    Repainting your engine: ICOA-style

EDIT! The clutch cover and alternator were polished, plus the crank end caps. Valve cover was powdercoated 'chrome'.

I wish Honda would bring back the CBX, that would be sweet.

I HATE the CBX! Every time I see one I get the drizzles! There are a couple in the Portland, OR area that ride the annual Rose City Motorcycle Club 250 mile ride in April and the 500 in May. I see at least one of them each year. What a treat and the sound is unbelievable. Smooth like a sewing machine.

Very nice bike but doubt I will ever get one. My wife overheard me talking to my sister on the phone about buying back my old Hodaka Wombat. The gist of her comments were basically that I have too much sh*t already and don't need another motorcycle. Can't say I agree.
