NOTE: I have not 100% decided to swap to LED turn signals, but I enjoy looking on eBay. That being said, I also know many (if not all LEDs) are not as bright.

So assuming you want LED turn signals would you pick LED bulbs for you oem style housing or new LED signal assembly?

For this topic I'm mostly refering to rear Amber Turn signals. (Though I'd swap to brighter red if I could find the assembly/lens for it).

These are the "shaped" mirrors I purchased.

This is the shape of my fairing's front turn signals.

These are some LED bulbs (found even cheaper seller today) - But I'd have to measure original housing for fit. (Learned my lesson from another project).

These are one of the LED blinker assemblies I found a while ago to sorta match the mirrors and front lens shape. Take note of the diffused lens vs. plain clear that many have.

So would visibility be better with LED assembly or LED bulb in OEM style housing?

(I'm also looking at non-oem shaped incandescent stalk signal housings).

P.S. Rather than trying to talk me out of LED, try to stick to bulb vs assembly. Thanks :) 8)

Careful with those cheap sellers on ebay with them leds, i bought several from there with that picture you showed, they burned out in less then a week and some did not even work
