Anyone have a pic of the inside of an XJ1100 guage cluster?

    I'm struggling to find a nice looking spot to put an on-off-on switch for my heated grips....and I was looking at the guage cluster thinking that there is plenty of realestate on there to mount a switch assumming there's nothing behind some of the possible spots... I have no room on the bars, and unlike newer bikes there's no fairing or panels to mount switches to.
    If anyone has a pic of the back side (inside) of the front of an '82 XJ1100J guage cluster could you please post is or email it to me? It'll save me from having to tear it apart unnecessarily.

    I don't think that you are going to have much luck that route either, there is a ton of stuff in there. I've got a picture that I will try to post, if I can't someone will have to try and help me out. I haven't been able to post my pics from photobucket yet.

    Thanks, but I need to see the inside of the front black plastic cover... There's plenty of room to drill holes, but I don't know what's behind it inside...

    thecamelman79 As I mentioned above, no room on the bars....that'd be a nice way to go if I had room however. the switch also needs to be an on-off-on as I have dual element (hi-lo) grip heaters.
