Actually looks pretty typical, for Japan.

Notice how the fairing was "adapted" to "fit" (if "fit" applies) the high handlebars?

And I WANT a set of those louvered XJ400/500/550 sidecovers!

But I dunno about the "cartooney" version of the tail cowling. Wacky.

The only thing I can really say is, it looks as though the builder has achieved his desired "look."

And what a "look" it is...

Look under the rear beverage holder - looks like a blue light to me which makes it a Bosozoku XJ550 "P" police model????

So I followed Mikko's link to the Wiki page; and there is a pic of a Bosozoku-styled Suzuki 400, and it looks like he used A LOT OF THE SAME PARTS (fairing, tail section, front fender, etc., ) as the Yamaha in Wiz' pics.

The Wiki page also explains the flagpoles; I couldn't quite figure that one out. Thought maybe it was an "extreme" curb indicator.

Apparently it's not so much a gang, as a "cult." And a very frightening one at that.

OMG. But then again, have you seen the inner-city "blinged out" scooter gangs? "Pimp my Burgman?"

    EGAD. 8O

Makes the Bosozoku bikes look like conservative, tasteful customs by comparison.

Like said before, each to his own. Rationally thinking, riding some hardtail no front brake bobber is little silly too, but there is plenty of people doing it  Not that I would personally like those deco-trucks, looks like electric womit to me
