I just ordered some little orange relectors for the headlight and the little YAMAHA emblem for the tailpiece. That should put it back to original. :D I never thought I'd jump on the "keeping it all stock" bandwagon but I really love how the Seca 650 is when it's all stock. Pics will follow as soon as I get it back. The right side tank emblem has some of the chrome rubbed off but that can come later I suppose.

I'm trying to go the same route with my 750, but there are a few things that I just simply couldn't keep, like the rectangle headlight.

Or you can keep the stock "feel" but "kick it up a notch" like I did with my '83 550 (the black bike in my gallery.)

That is my plan more or less. Keep it STOCK-ISH with modern tech and replacement safety parts.

Original Improvements: Replaced Fuse Panel; LED Atari Cluster Lights; LED Brake Light Cluster inside original housing.

Planned Original Upgrades: Stainless Steel Brake Lines; Rebuilt a Master Cylinder and replace aftermarket replacement; Heavy Duty Rear Shocks; Progressive Front fork springs; Install a Seca rear tire for better looks and small MPG improvement (so some claim).

Touring Set Installed with LED brake lights, LED turn signals on bags, LED 7" Headlight (just received today), LED front turn signal bulbs (ordered).

Other: Made some LED "driving" lights and would like to replace with better purchased one.

Did I forget to plan for any Stock-like common safety/performance upgrades?

Fitz, I love what you did with that 550. That's classy right there. My dad gave me my first Seca and always maintained that it was a "gentlemans motorcycle." You just can't find bikes like that anymore.
